With the sad passing of legendary comedy actor Leslie Nielsen, some of Hollywood's biggest names are sending their tributes via Twitter to the fallen laugh master.
Honoring the Airplane! and Naked Gun funnyman, Russell Brand took to Twitter to share his thoughts, saying:
RIP. Leslie Nielsen. Shirley, he will be missed.
The "Shirley" reference making its way into most Nielsen tributes is a nod to his famous Airplane! line. Watch it below:
Ryan Seacrest also chimed in on Nielsen's death, adding that "To this day "Airplane" is still one of my favorite comedies ever."
